2 Pasadena Water and Power Background Hahamongna Basin Multi-Use Project  2006 Grant application in partnership with the Arroyo Seco Foundation (ASF)  One of 13 projects selected for the Greater Los Angeles County Integrated Resources Water Management Project Implementation Proposition 84 Grant - $3,271,000 Awarded  Funded by the California Department of Water Resources  Administered by the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD) 2

9 Pasadena Water and Power Memorandums of Understanding Los Angeles County Flood Control District  Provided as Attachment B  Receive $3,271,000 in Proposition 84 grant funds  LACFCD finalizing its agreement with DWR  Expend funds by December 2015 Arroyo Seco Foundation  Provided as Attachment C  ASF to act as a consultant for a fee not to exceed $250,000  Tasks include community education/outreach, permitting, design input, and implementation of the habitat restoration program 9

10 Pasadena Water and Power Recommended Action CEQA exemption for funding shift and MOUs Approve shifting total $3,271,000 grant fund to Canyon component of the Hahamongna Basin Multi- Use Project Authorize MOU with Los Angeles County Flood Control District to receive $3,271,000 Proposition 84 grant funds Authorize MOU with Arroyo Seco Foundation for a fee not to exceed $250,000 to implement the project 10
