Positively Connected for Health (PC4H) will work with hard-to-reach youth in Philadelphia through three distinct social media interventions: APPlify Your Health A digital health literacy workshop that uses pop-up iPad and smartphone labs to support youth who will be engaged in our two social media interventions. iknowUshould2 An existing CHOP web-based social media campaign that encourages HIV testing and linkage to care for status unknown youth Treat Yo Self A mobile app designed for and with input from HIV+ youth to improve adherence to antiretroviral therapy and engagement in care. 5. Alyssa Richman, PhD Ally has almost 15 years of experience as a researcher studying issues of inequality as they intersect with racial, gender, and sexual identities. Earning her PhD in sociology from Temple University in 2013, Ally oversees the Digital Health Literacy programs of Philadelphia FIGHT. Isabella Lopez, BA A Clinical Research Assistant at CHOP, Bella, has worked on studies focused on improving the health outcomes of HIV+ youth by utilizing health technology, and contributed to the TreatYoSelf app development for the SPNS project. Graham Beckley, BS Graham is a Digital Health Trainer with the Critical Path Project at Philadelphia FIGHT. 7. Recruitment Procedures Interested in PC4H Participation Approached before or after their clinic visits by a study team member to receive more information about participating in the study Potential participants who may have been lost to care that find out about the study through C2P flyering can contact the number listed on the flyer to learn more about the study from a team member. Undecided Potential participants will not be coerced into participating and will be given time to decide if they would like to participate in the study. They will be given a copy of the flyer and ICF with contact information to reach a team member when they have made their decision. Charts will also be noted to follow up with these potential participants. Not Interested in PC4H Participation Patient’s chart will be noted so they are not repeatedly recruited

8. Eligibility Criteria for Inclusion Youth age 14 to 29 years of age at the time of study enrollmentHIV-positiveOwns an Android or iOS (Apple) smartphone Unsuppressed viral load defined as above 200 copies/ml Receiving care at CHOP HIV Clinics or FIGHT Health Centers

9. Screening & Eligibility Determination If the subject is confirmed eligible to participate, the subject will be enrolled for active participation in the PC4H study, assigned a participant ID number, and study visit dates scheduled. If the participant signs the ICF, a study team member will then ask inclusion criteria questions and record participant responses to confirm eligibility. If the subject is interested in participation, they will be taken through the informed consent form (ICF) process (6-8 th grade reading level). After a subject is identified, the subject will be informed about the study procedures, consent, and eligibility criteria in recruitment in a private room at CHOP/FIGHT by a study team member.

10. Potential Recruitment and Enrollment Challenges Patient’s desire and ability to commit to 18-month study period Competing demands: housing, employment issues, family responsibilities, etc. Other priorities for clinical care teams at CHOP and FIGHT Potential participants may be excluded from enrolling if participating in another behavioral intervention study that has such a requirement Initial study visit lengthy which can present challenges if at the time of medical appointment
