2. One day, on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus sent his disciples to get a donkey.

3. Jesus rode on the donkey to Jerusalem. The people waved palms and shouted “Hosanna” which means ‘Save us’.

4. During Passover, Jesus ate a special meal with his disciples. They were worried about Jesus because some people didn’t like him. One of you will betray me!

5. It was Judas who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

6. Jesus broke some bread and said: Eat this and think of me – this is my body.

7. He then took some wine and said: This is my blood which will be poured for you.

8. Jesus then washed his disciples feet.

9. Jesus and his disciples went to a garden called Gethsemane. He said "My heart feels heavy, and I feel very sad.” He began to pray to God.

10. Suddenly some soldiers appeared and arrested Jesus. Judas was with them.

11. Jesus was asked lots of questions by Pontius Pilate. Pilate thought Jesus had done nothing wrong but wanted to please the crowds who were shouting for Jesus to die.

12. The mean soldiers whipped Jesus and made fun of him. They did not believe he was a King. Jesus was made to carry his own cross and fell 3 times.

14. We remember: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." The next time you do something you're not supposed to, remember to say sorry to Jesus, and remember what He did for you!
