9 The leadership standards/dimensions that may inform your work as a district leader Model Principal Supervisor Professional Standards British Columbia School Superintendents Association Dimension of Practice Standard 1: Principal Supervisors dedicate their time to helping principals grow as instructional leaders. Standard 2: Principal Supervisors coach and support individual principals to engage in effective professional learning strategies to help principals grow as instructional leaders. Dimension 5 – Leading Learning: BCSSA members create system conditions that allow the development of structures and practices that facilitate learning. Dimension 6 – Human Resources Development and Management: School district leaders support the growth and development of all employees and strategically manage human resources to achieve quality education for all students.
