3 Summary of Book  Characters: Hector, Debbie,  Problem: Debbie wanted something good to happen to her and hector already had a good life  Resolution/Ending: she wanted to go to California to meet the cute boy

4 Based on the Reading Sample I can Tell…  that both of the characters are in different towns and they both have sisters and that they don’t know each other at all

5 Reading Reviews  This reader’s review caught my attention because teenagers want to read a book like this one because it is very interesting to read  Copy and paste here: Teenagers almost always want some sort of a change in their lives. And that is what the story is trying to say. Basically, the story simply tells you the point of view of teenagers about life, about what they want, about what they feel. To do this, the author uses Debbie and Hector, with different wishes and points of view. Also, influencing the story we have Dan, Lenny and Debbie's friend. Probably the teenage mind will understand more that the averaged

She is the author of two other novels— All Alone in the Universe, a companion to Criss Cross, and As Easy as Falling Off the Face of the Earth. Lynne Rae Perkins has also written and illustrated several picture books, including The Broken Cat, Snow Music, Pictures from Our Vacation, and The Cardboard Piano.
