Focusing Question: How can you publish your story online? Strategy: To publish stories by uploading them to the class ezine.

Add the title and resave. Use the Publish on Writing Matters (Handout 6.3a) to post your piece online.

3 Focusing QuestionFocusing Question | Mini Lesson | Writer’s Work Time | Lesson SummaryMini LessonWriter’s Work TimeLesson Summary Writer’s Work Time 1.Open the most updated version of your story stored in the Online Classroom under the Step 5 activity, Submit Your Revised Story. 2.Add a title to your story. 3.Click the Submit Writing to this eZine link on the right. 4.Type the title and choose Short Fiction from the pull-down menu. 5.Go back to your document and copy just the body. 6.Return to the Writing Matters ezine. Go to the Edit menu and click Paste. 7.Scan the text to make sure all of the text appears in the “Body” box. 8.Click the Submit button.
