5. Procedure Put 1cm of starch solution into a test-tube Add 1cm of amylase Shake well to mix Put a TINY spot of iodine into the first well of your spotting tile. Add a TINY drop of the starch and amylase mixture. We are going to repeat this every 30 seconds…. A timer will sound and a new slide of instructions will appear to guide you. First result

6. 30 seconds has gone by since we started the experiment… Take a TINY spot of iodine and place it in the next well of your tray Take a TINY spot of the starch and amylase mixture and add this to the iodine. Record what happens in your chart by colouring in the circle. Second result

7. One minute has gone by since we started the experiment Take another TINY spot of iodine and put it in the third well Add another TINY spot of the starch and amylase mixture Record your result Third result

8. One minute and 30 second has gone by since we started the experiment Take another tiny spot of iodine and put it in the fourth well of the tile Add a TINY spot of the starch and amylase mixture Record your result Fourth result
