3. You have been asked to draw a plan of a new bungalow for a married couple who are retiring. The couple have some special requests. Here they are: They would like a square lounge, each side to be 6m long. They want a rectangular kitchen with an area of 24m². They would like a rectangular bathroom that is half the area of the kitchen.

4. They want two bedrooms of the same area, but not exactly the same shape. They want a dining room that can be any size as long as it is in the shape of a pentagon (it does not need to be regular). One corner should have an angle of 110° (mark this on your plan). They would like a conservatory outside the bungalow. This should be in the shape of an equilateral triangle with a perimeter of 18m.

5. Draw a plan of the bungalow. Use a scale of 1cm to 1m. For example, the side of the square you draw should be 6cm long. It is up to you to decide which rooms go next to one other. Include any other rooms you wish and show their measurements.
