7 Leadership & Training State Leadership Training Workshop (SLTW) in the Fall Run for office at the district, state or national level Learn the etiquette and skills necessary to lead and serve Set an example for all members. 8 Citrus Fruit Fundraiser Members sell throughout October Delivery in December SHS is the only local SkillsUSA chapter selling fruit Prizes for top- selling classes & individuals! The fruit is sold, unloaded, counted, and distributed by SkillsUSA members. The lower photos show the officers presenting the 3 rd place seller with 4 movie & bowling passes, and President William O’Neill and Secretary Emily Kresho presenting top salesman William Castillo with a $200 check. This year’s other prize was a $100 VISA gift card plus a Chick Fil-A lunch for the top-selling class.

12 National Leadership & Skills Conference Held in June in Louisville, Kentucky 2 National Gold Medalists in Architectural Drafting, 2013 & 2015 2 National Silver Medalists in Architectural Drafting: 2005 & 2008 National 4 th place winner in Carpentry: David Brooks (2012) National 10 th place winner in Masonry: Jacob Nicholson (’07) Louisville Slugger Factory Tour, Kentucky Kingdom theme park
