Once a level has been determined, a percentage is assigned according to the following scale: Level 4 – 80-100%: Identifies achievement that surpasses the standard but NOT the grade level. Achievement reflects “thorough understanding”. Students performing at this level demonstrate their knowledge and skills “with a high degree of effectiveness”. Students achieving at this level can be confident that they are prepared to address the expectations of the next grade or course. Students performing at this level are able to demonstrate some knowledge of what they know Level 1 – 50 – 59%: Identifies achievement that falls much below the standard and is not considered to be at grade level.
