10 Earliest start dates for Reinvestment Projects Call EACEA 03/2009 In order to be eligible, reinvestment projects of the potential funds generated by this call for proposals must begin: ModuleEarliest start date of the project 1 Co-productionThe co-production contract must be signed at the earliest on 1st August 2009 / submitted within 3 months 2 Minimum guaranteeThe licence agreement / deal memo must be signed at the earliest on 1st August 2009 / submitted within 3 months 3 P&A costsThe first theatrical release of the film in the territory can take place at the earliest on 1st August 2009 / latest on day of release Reminder: Module 3 and Selective Scheme cannot be cumulated Deadline for reinvestment is 1st October 2010

17 New simplification and consolidation of the contracts Consolidation of contracts for awards < or = to 25.000 euros/distributor/territory/call Duration of the action and the eligibility period fixed in order to cover all of the films Change in the payment terms : advance of 60% instead of 50 % Overheads limited to 7 % and suppression of the limitation to 30.000 euros

18 ModulePeriod of the Eligible Costs 1 – Co-production From the date of the signature of the co- production contract (which must be between 1 August 2008 and 1st October 2009) until the 1st February 2011 2 – Minimum guarantees From the date of the signature of the distribution contract (which must be between 1 August 2008 and 1st October 2009) until until the 1st February 2011 3 – Distribution costs From 6 months before the date of the application until the 1st August 2011. 21 Annexes Annexes for contracts (SEL 22/08 AUTO 27/07) are not anymore on the website of the MEDIA Programme All the annexes are sent individually per email (A confirmation of receipt is requested) Information as period of eligibility, name of company already filled in

22 Single / Consolidation The annexes of the single contracts remain the same The annexes of the consolidation contracts remain the same except for: -A release report is required for each title of the contract -New technical implementation for each title -The financial report is the summary of the data of the technical implementation reports

23 Reports Release Report per film must be sent one month after theatrical release Technical implementation / Financial report to be sent within 3 months after the end of the eligibility period

24 Conclusions If any problem inform the EACEA immediately in writing. Submission of complete applications and reports guarantees a more efficient processing.
