Flowers are the sex organs of plants. Most flowers contain both male and female organs.

4. Functions Petals – attract insects
Sepal – makes food for the flower, protects the bud
Stamen (male reproductive organ) : Anther and Filament
Carpel (female reproductive organ): Stigma, style and ovary.

5. Ovule
Inside the ovary is the ovule which is the female sex cell. The male sex cell is found on the anthers? What do you think it is called?
