3 Greater Boston Housing Pipeline  As of June 2006, there were over 300 housing developments in the Greater Boston pipeline  Over 3,500 units approved, but not yet under construction  15,000 units still in process, either at the local level or before Housing Appeals Committee, or in the courts  125 developments (7,000 units) were preparing to apply or recently applied to MassHousing for a determination of site eligibility, the first step in filing for a 40B Source: Greater Boston Housing Report Card 2005/2006
