The team has responsibility to ensure that the LSEG’s infrastructure adheres to the defined business and technology vision and that the infrastructure and application strategies, architectures and standards align. Educated to degree standard Significant experience in complex IT environments Has interpreted and delivered upon a corporate strategic vision Has demonstrated delivery capability in a fast-moving constantly challenging IT environment Has experience of entire project life cycle Has delivered solutions meeting stakeholder requirements from all levels of the organisation Has a wide understanding of IT architectures and underlying technologies in the network, platform, application and security disciplines Has an ability to build on new and existing relationships at all levels of an organisation Operational experience of benefit Proactively looks for and suggests ways to improve products, processes or procedures Actively listens to staff, drawing out ideas for improvement Challenges constructively Builds, attracts and retains high performing teams Delivery and results driven High Performance Demonstrates the knowledge and expertise within their field to have credibility with their peers Exhibits the ability to build and maintain networks of contacts at all levels Identifies issues, design solutions and evaluates alternative commercial options Makes efficient and effective decisions understanding impact on the performance of staff and business Ensures momentum on complex business activities is sustained for successful delivery Has the sustained drive and energy to deliver quality service to time Operations and Infrastructure Architect reporting into group Head Architect Definition and maintenance of IT architectures and standards in line with IT strategy Identification and evaluation of new technology to solve LSE business challenges Compilation and review of project non-functional requirements Driving innovation and continuous improvement to sustain a position of though leadership Review and approval of Design Deliverables to ensure architectural alignment Sponsor for technical training initiatives to build appropriate technical capability within the LSE Communicate and translate complex technical IT issues/proposals to business managers PlanningInterprets corporate strategy into team strategies and plans
