2 About Polar bears Polar bears are extremely dangerous animals that live in the Arctic. They may look cute when their baby's but when full grown they are about 1,000 pounds of predator.

3 Habitat Polar bears live either in the Arctic or at a zoo that can hold them. You can also see them at animal rescues.

4 Diet Polar bears eat… Seals Ducks Small rodents Fish Peoples garbage Dead walruses Caribou Whales the come across Even though meat is their main part of their diet people have seen the eating plants.

5 Height and weight Males weigh about 1,000 pounds and standing up will be about 11 feet tall females however weigh about 700 pounds and standing up will be about 8 feet tall.

6 Polar bear facts 1.They are the largest land predator on earth. 2.They can smell food from miles away. 3.Polar bears swallow their food in big gulps. 4.Polar bears live alone except for mothers and cubs. 5.Newborn cubs only weigh about a pound. 6.If snow gets to deep a mother will carry its cubs on its back. 7.Polar bears live for about 25 years. 8.The scientific name of the polar bear is ursus martimus. 9.Females usually have 1-3

7 Endangered or not Polar bears are endangered. They are endangered because we keep burning fuel witch is going up to the Arctic. Polar bears use the ice to get food but since the ice is melting the polar bears are getting thinner causing them to have fewer and weaker cubs.
