6 Science Curriculum Adoption  Committee members assembled  Classroom teachers, administration and ESU #1 facilitator  Standards Alignment-Alignment of standards and curriculum guide.  School Needs. What is needed most in terms of curriculum and science education? Which product offers the best available science program with the resources the school has available aka-compatibility with Macs, etc.  Teacher Friendly. If teachers are comfortable with the materials and new curriculum, the students benefit greatly.  Support. Does the selected curriculum/company offer PD for teachers or any means of support?

7 Practice for our students  IXL  Skills are aligned to the Nebraska Academic Standards and the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines; preparation for the Nebraska State Accountability tests.  Practice problems specifically tailored to each required standard.  Students think it is fun!  At-home program available!  IXL tracks student progress and displays proficiency scores in the state standards reports.  C4L  C4L is designed to allow teachers to create assessments for students. These assessments are built from a warehouse of test items, which are aligned to Nebraska standards.  Elementary computer lab is equipped for C4L use.
