4. What was finished? Sin was finished Penalty of Sin He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. Colossians 2:13b-14

5. What? Power of Sin For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Romans 6:6-7

6. Presence of Sin And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them…‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:3a, 4 What?

7. What was finished? Estrangement from God was finished Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation. Colossians 1:21-22

8. What was finished? The Devil was/is finished For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony… Revelation 12:10b- 11a

9. How can we live like “it is finished?” Believe it is finished and Act like it! When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Romans 6:10-11

10. Refuse past guilt and shame! So now there is no condemnation to those who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 How can we live like “it is finished?”

11. Enjoy your new status in Christ! See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! 1 John 3:1a How can we live like “it is finished?”
