1 Using a laptop, click on chrome and go to www.safesearchkids.com to search for amphibians. Research different types of amphibians and the changes that happen as they grow. After you have researched amphibians, create a two paragraph summary on types of amphibians in Microsoft Word. Be sure to clearly define amphibian and metamorphosis. Save your word document as metamorphosis and your number. (ex. metamorphosis1). – Did you find enough information to write two complete paragraphs? – Did you clearly define amphibian and metamorphosis? – Did you save your Word document with metamorphosis followed by your number? This task uses: Learning Objective(s):  Learn what an amphibian is  Identify an amphibian  See how an amphibian changes The Metamorphosis of an Amphibian

2 Open your metamorphosis Word document. Spell check your document and make any changes needed. Open Google Chrome and go to www.safesearchkids.com. Search for images of the metamorphosis cycle of a frog. Save the image as frog1.jpeg, frog2.jpeg, etc. Insert images below your summary Adjust the size of the image by using the sizing tool. Save your Word document and exit Word. – Did you spellcheck your Word document? – Did you locate and save an image of a metamorphosis cycle of a frog? – Did you insert the image below your summary? – Did you save your Word document as metamorphosis followed by your number? (ex. Metamorphosis1) This task uses: Learning Objective(s):  Research and identify the metamorphosis cycle of a frog

3 The Metamorphosis of an Amphibian Using an Ipad, find the Educreations app and click on it. Using what you learned in previous lessons, create a lesson using Educreations, on the metamorphosis cycle of an amphibian. Your Educreations should contain pictures and audio. Using www.safesearchkids.com, you can upload images that may be helpful to your lesson. Once you finish your lesson, save it and title it with your number and my last name. Click the share button and then “Copy Link” Log into Blackboard and post your link in the Metamorphoisis of an Amphibian Discussion Board. – Did you create your lesson using only the educreations app? – Did you save your lesson using only your number and my last name? – Did you share your lesson with your table partner? This task uses: Learning Objective(s): To create a lesson that is student led

4 The Metamorphosis of an Amphibian Using an Ipad, open up your educreations lesson that you created. Upload the lesson that you created to our class twitter account. Ask our followers to elaborate more on the metamorphosis of an amphibian. Discuss with one or more of our followers what you have learned about the metamorphosis of an amphibian. Allow our followers to correct any mistakes. Also, allow them to ask questions about your lesson. – Did your lesson upload to our class Twitter? – Did you respond to one or more of our followers when they commented on your lesson? This task uses: Learning Objective(s): To edit our lesson with the help of our Twitter followers. For the students to share their work with other students in other classrooms. For the students to discuss and crituque their work.
