4.  The quarterly patching, is followed by many companies which prefer to have their Databases secured with the latest security fixes.  There are a number of steps involved in patching each Database, like finding the appropriate patch in My Oracle Support, downloading the patch, transferring it to the target servers, upgrading the OPATCH in each Oracle Home, shutting down the Databases and Listeners running from that Home, apply the patch, start each of the Databases in restricted mode, applying any supplied SQL scripts if they are, restarting the Databases. 10.  Upload in Software Shared Library.  Setup Privilege delegation for server/host.  Create Normal and Privileged user for deployment.  Choose the right procedure for the specific provision.  Schedule the job or run immediate.  Check prerequisites before submit the job and review the log after the job completed.
