6. OLTP Sales Table Contains information about invoice line items –Invoice Number and Date are composite primary key –Store Number, Customer Number, and Part Number are foreign keys

7. Invoice Numbers An invoice can only be generated in a branch location First two digits of the six digit invoice number give the store number –Example: Invoice 262378 was generated in store 26, Houston Invoice 043578 was generated in store 04, Brownsville

8. OLTP Customer Table Contains information specific to each customer –Customer Number is primary key –Also contains name, address, telephone, etc.

9. OLTP Product Table Contains data about each of the 16,000 line items –Part Number is the primary key –The first three digits of the seven digit part number provide a category designation Example: 3411208, 3416442, and 3417880 are all electrical parts

10. OLTP Stores Table Contains data on each of the branch locations –Store number is primary key –Also contains store name, manager’s name, store address, telephone, etc.
