Objective states what your goal is in sending the resume. “I hope to gain an entry level position in the field of chemical engineering.” Summary of Qualifications states briefly what your qualifications are. “I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and 3 years experience as a teacher.”

5. What are Blurbs? Blurbs are phrases offering details about the items on your resume. Use blurbs to give details about education, work experience or other types of resume entries. These should not be complete sentences. Just the information.

6. In what order should items appear on my resume? Heading: listing name, address, phone number and email address. State an Objective or give a Summary of Qualifications Education: in reverse chronological order Experience: also in reverse chronological order Complete the page with other positive information
