2 PACT Priorities Speeding Ansley Common, 100m either side of Nursery Rd., 6p-9p identified as main concern. (6 checks during relevant times) ASB Community Centre, Temple Way, Coleshill. (8 visits).

7 ASB – Coleshill Community Centre In total there have been 46 targeted patrols of the location. One reported incident of damage to window. There were no problems encountered during any of the visits, although on two occasions cars were parked up at location. Drivers / passengers advised. Any youths found on the site were advised re the problems. Incident of ASB in Station Rd., near to location dealt with, enquiries ongoing with local school. Local residents and caretaker liaised with. PC King, crime reduction officer, has visited location. The resulting survey has been forwarded to the Town Clerk.

9 Other Work On Tuesday 30 June 2009 two Atherstone reactive officers spotted a local "Highest Harm Causer" carrying a carrier bag clutched to his chest. He made off from the officers and after a short chase, was arrested for burglary, after being found hiding under a van with two iPods next to him. A subsequent search located the attacked dwelling and all the outstanding property, including a laptop, a quantity of cash and most significantly, a quantity of jewellery, which meant a lot to the victim/s. At the time of the arrest, the burglary had not even been reported to police.

10 On Thursday 07 May 2009, PCSOs attended a Super Learning Day at the Coleshill School. PCSOs Owen and Waller gave a presentation on Drugs Awareness to Year 7 Pupils. At the same time PCSO Beale gave a presentation on Gun and Knife Crime to Year 10 pupils. Both pupils and teachers were extremely complimentary and commented on how well the day had gone. PCSOs are planned to present talks during July on ASB to year 8 students at Coleshill School, aiming to show the effects and consequences of their actions.

11 Two new NHW schemes are in planning Ansley Common / Corley. High visibility patrols conducted by PCSOs in area near Corley Rocks re fly tipping. Regular visits to licensed premises and liaison with staff. Maintain contact with NHW coordinators.

12 Furnace End car boot sale, 5 th July, PC Bemowski and PCSO Waller seized counterfeit clothing valued at over £30,000. In addition seized in excess of 5,000 DVDs which were abandoned. Increase patrols conducted by SNT of Bray Bank, Furnace End as a result of complaints from residents. High visibility patrols conducted in Gun Hill, Arley re off road motorcyclists.
