NOTICE OF INSETA SUPPORT FOR LEARNERS WHO HAVE TO REWRITE FAIS RE LEVEL 1 EXAMINATIONS The FSB has announced a further extension for the Level 1 Regulatory Exams for those people who had written the exams before 30 June 2012, but did not manage to pass. The deadline for the extension is now 31 March 2013. Please note that this notice applies only to Financial Advisors who fall into this category. INSETA FAIS REWRITE PREPARATION SEMINARS INSETA in partnership with the FSB, would like to assist these Advisors in preparing for their rewrites by conducting free seminars nationally. The seminars will focus on examination techniques for successful completion of the multiple-choice questions in the paper. These seminars will also focus on “problem areas” that have been identified from analyses of examination records of learners who have attempted the examinations multiple times and failed. Fais

The seminars which will run in early 2013 will focus on examination preparation techniques based on lessons learnt and will cover:  The structure of the questions  How to analyse each question  Selecting the correct answer  Using the time available wisely  Learning for the exam Registration forms for attendance of the FAIS seminars can be found on the INSETA website.
