Chlorine is used in the production of textiles, paper products, dyes, petroleum products, medicines, insecticides, disinfectants, foods, solvents, plastics, paints, and many other products. The element is used to manufacture chlorates, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, and in the extraction of bromine. Chlorine has been used as a chemical warfare agent.

10.  There are many uses for Chlorine and a big use is to keep swimming pools clean and bacteria free. Also, companies can sell their own water by using this chemical to disinfect it. This element has never ending uses but another important reason companies should buy this one is because all of your food and deserts that are dyed, are dyed by food coloring. This coloring is a mixture of chlorine and color. But there isn’t enough for it to be harmful to the human body.
