4. N.C.I.S. You will use your investigative skills to learn scientific concepts. You may even get to dissect some stuff!

5. A.C.E. You will explore ancient civilizations And their use of science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

6. Let’s Talk Electives… SEMESTER-LONG ELECTIVES: Robotics Batter’s Up!/Got Golf?

7. Robotics Working in small teams, you will learn the basics of computer programming to manipulate robots and document your work on a website that you create!

8. Batter’s Up!/Got Golf? You will have the opportunity to learn baseball and golf skills and be part of a TEAM during this elective.

9. Electives continued… YEAR-LONG ELECTIVES: Beginning Band Intermediate/Advanced Band STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math Intro to Video Production

10. Beginning – Advanced Band You will be introduced to the world of music. You will select or be assigned an instrument to learn to play or improve your skills in advanced band if you already play an instrument.

11. S.T.E.A.M. You will use science, technology, engineering, art, and math to create projects where you incorporate the skills you learn.

12. Intro to Video Production This is an introductory course where you will learn what is needed to produce a weekly school news show from start to finish.

13. Alternative Elective Classes Depending on your academic or English Language Development needs you may be enrolled in one of the following alternative elective classes: LD Tech Read 180

14. LD Technology You will use your technology skills to develop and perfect your English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

15. Read 180 You will work on improving your reading skills through the use of technology, small group instruction, and by reading really cool stories!
