2 Conference Theme The 2012 Olympics; A hospitality perspective As we approach 2008 and the Beijing Olympic Games in the summer, this conference embraces the Olympic theme and investigates what the hospitality industry needs to do to fully participate in, and gain from, the spectacle that will be the 2012 London Olympic Games.

12 Conference Benefits This conference has a lot to offer; insights into Government thinking behind the 2012 London Olympic Games business and social legacy, views from key industry associations and leading industry players, research data, not freely available. In addition, delegates will have pieced together the opportunities and development needs that will impact upon one of the foremost industries in the world not to mention the opportunity to network with other students and influential personalities.

13 How to Book Delegate numbers are limited to 140 places, so early bookings are recommended to prevent disappointment. CHME members have an exclusivity window until the 7th January 2008, when attendance will be opened up to non-members and other interested subject groups, such as tourism and events (and they are interested).
