How was LBJ impacted in education before he become President? 2. Why do you think LBJ signed the ESEA in his original 1 room school house?

3 Examine the Great Society programs and identify 4 programs that could be cut and offer a rationale for terminating the program. Be sure that your rationale is in complete sentences and clearly spells out your reasons for cutting the program

4 Read “creating fair legislative districts” on page 688 and answer number 1 on page 689. Read Point/Counterpoint and answer number 1 on page 690.
