Active Projects (1) P1857.5 Standard for Advanced Mobile speech and Audio PAR was approved on Dec 11, 2013 The project is currently at the stage of sponsor ballot invitation and the enrollment will close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time 27-May-2015. P1857.4 Standard for 2nd Generation IEEE 1857 Video PAR was approved on Dec 11, 2013. The draft has been completed and will be voted in WG in early June next month.

6. Active Projects (2) P1857.6 Standard for Digital Media Content Description PAR was approved on Dec 11, 2013 The visual descriptors was 25% completed. There is no substantial progress in the last four months. One work meeting was convened on March 19, 2015 and three technical proposals were reviewed and adopted. The standard draft is expected to be finished by the end of 2016.

7. Active Projects (3) P1857.7 Standard for Adaptive Streaming PAR was approved on Dec 10, 2014 The draft has been 50% completed. The draft is expected to be fully completed in December 2015 The group is now working to 1) determine the protocols that should be supported besides HTTP; 2) determine the relationship between the HTTP part and other possible protocol based parts. The progress of the last four months: The accuracy, integrity and readability of the HTTP part has been carefully checked.
