6 CS5214  Multipath routing protocols using geographic routing, a sender uses overhearing to monitor if the next nodes forward its packets. a disjoint multipath routing protocol relies on the existence of a powerful base station to plan multipath routing.  This paper’s approach is totally distributed with hop-by-hop formation of multiple paths.hop-by-hop  HEED[22] energy-efficient distributed clustering approach Aims to extend the lifetime of all the nodes in the network by distributing the energy consumption across the nodes. 6
