5 Technology Strategy Board Smart funding SME-specific direct grant, single firm or collaborative R&D Bimonthly calls for proposals – next on 18 July 3 types of grant: Proof of Market – up to £25k, 60% of costs Proof of Concept – up to £100k, 60% of costs Prototype development - £250k max, 45% for small and micro enterprises; 35% for medium enterprises International projects via Eureka brokering mechanism Collaborative R&D, at least 1 partner from one of 38 countries UK funds through Smart scheme
