AGENDA. 01 Include a presentation agenda if required 02 Use Bold numbers and Roman agenda items 03 If your agenda list won’t fit onto a single slide 04 then use additional slides as required 05 Don’t change the size of the copy or spacing 06 to make your content fit 07 If your agenda requires subsections 7.1 then use indents as necessary

TEXT ONLY LAYOUTS. Try not to fill slides with text and keep copy succinct and digestible. Copy should support your presentation and not repeat it verbatim. Remember that white space is an important element of the design and should be given equal weighting to text and graphics. If copy won’t fit on a single slide, don’t reduce the point size – run it across more slides. Text boxes can be staggered to make the layout more dynamic. Ensure that the baselines of copy align with each other like the two columns in this example. Duis ultrices odio id lacus consectetur quis adipiscing lorem pharetra. Pellentesque tellus purus, lacinia at dictum ac, congue id erat. Cras ut tellus mi. Proin auctor euismod suscipit. Nulla eu dui et elit consequat scelerisque vitae at urna.

Use L3 subheads if required Combine text with black and white portraiture of Institution Members, Fellows, Associates etc. If an image is cropped then it should bleed of the edge of the slide. The image can bleed of more than one side if required. Use L2 subheads if required COMBINING INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES WITH PORTRAITURE WORKS VERY WELL. ENSURE THE QUOTES ARE CORRECTLY CREDITED TO THE PERSON FEATURED AND INCLUDES THEIR POST NOMINALS IF APPROPRIATE. TEXT LAYOUT WITH PORTRAITURE #1.

TEXT LAYOUT WITH PORTRAITURE #2. Use L3 subheads if required Combine text with black and white portraiture of Institution Members, Fellows, Associates etc. If the portraiture is shot head-to- toe, then it can be included within the frame of the slide as in this example. Alternatively, it can bleed of the edge of the slide. Use L2 subheads if required * you may wish to credit the Members using small copy. In this example we have from left to right: Carrie Chu AMIMechE, Samuel Bajomo CEng, Julia Brown FIMechE

TEXT LAYOUT WITH ISOLATED IMAGERY. Use L3 subheads if required Text can also be combined with suitable isolated imagery. This imagery can be included within the frame of the slide or can bleed of one or more edges of the slide as in this example. Use L2 subheads if required *small copy can also be used to include image credits if they are required.

FULL SLIDE COLOUR IMAGES SHOULD ONLY BE COMBINED WITH HEADLINES.
