2. Probe Components 20-way probe cable connector (special order) Cable spacer (Part No 80015) Probe rods Probe rod joiners (special order) Access tubes Access Tube joiners (Part No 22200 ) Locate relevant parts for probe assembly

3. Joining probe rods Locate probe rod with probe joiner attached Undo screw from end protruding from probe rod Locate second probe rod with screw hole drilled in end

4. Slide second probe rod so that the plastic fits between the two metal plates Push probe rods together until screw holes in plates align with screw hole in plastic. Insert screw into hole and tighten 1 2 3

5. Insert cable spacer

6. Joining 20-way cable Plug 20-way cable joiner into plugs either side of join. NOTE: Do not position a sensor above the probe joiner. The metal in the probe joiner may interfere with the performance of the sensor.

7. Joining access tube In deep installations, the access tube may be lengthened by joining tubes during the installation procedure The access tubes are glued together using PVC glue

8. Clean the inner surface of the access tube joiner and the outer surface of the access tubes with PVC solvent Apply PVC glue to the outer surface of one access tube and the inner surface of one end of the access tube joiner and slide together Hold firmly in place until glue sets

9. Repeat process with other access tube NOTE: It is important to ensure that no glue seeps into the inside of the access tube, as this may hinder the installation of the probe
