And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

5. 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

7. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. His resources are endless. Strengthened in your inner being so that…. It takes power to have your inner being strengthened to the point that Christ is living inside you and that is enough. When we are unsatisfied we will literally ruin the lives of people around us. If unsatisfied we bring down rather than turning to Christ

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge Rooted and established in love We can only have agape for others when our hearts have become regenerate because of God’s love for us. If not then the rest of Ephesians is Paul telling us how to serve the god of good behavior. Job 11:5-9 To know what surpasses knowledge???

9. that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. What?! Seriously? The fullness of God in me? You’s are ya’lls 1:23 All of ya’ll together have what it takes to show Christ to the world around you. My individualistic view of scripture is idolatrous!

Amen. Abundantly more abundantly – but we like to measure don’t we? We measure days, weeks, years, dollars and accomplishments, successes and failures, good and bad, ability and inability, others view of us and our own view of us. 3:8 “although I am the least of all God’s people…”
