3 The wars we have been researching have happened in the eighteen hundreds to the present. These wars were gruesome and in some of them the Australians helped; this is why we have a holiday called ANZAC day. ANZAC is the day when we remember those who fought and died for us. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. The wars we have been researching have happened in the eighteen hundreds to the present. 8 Art work We read a book called “Rose Blanche”. It was about a girl who found a Jewish concentration camp. She brought the kids food everyday but she ate less and less; she became skinny and grey. For art we had to draw someone who was affected by war like Rose Blanche. We were allowed to use any materials we liked. We read a book called “Rose Blanche”.
