7 Korea Responsible Care Council The main objectives of the KRCC are: n To promote the interests of the Korean chemical industry world-wide, by being actively involved in the implementation of the Responsible Care program. n To earn the respect of the community at large by demonstrating the responsible management of chemicals, thus obtaining a long term license to operate from the community. n To promote the interests of the Korean chemical industry world-wide, by being actively involved in the implementation of the Responsible Care program. n To earn the respect of the community at large by demonstrating the responsible management of chemicals, thus obtaining a long term license to operate from the community.

15 Korea Responsible Care Council n Create an effective training system in which members establish an in-house as well as council based training system to provide Responsible Care ® awareness education. Members should recognize the importance of education and be encouraged to actively promote this at every opportunity. Proposed implementation approach (contn’d)

16 Korea Responsible Care Council Proposed implementation approach (contn’d) n Implement plans for annual reporting, which requires Responsible Care self-evaluation reports to be submitted to KRCC yearly in a uniform format, which describes the status of each member’s Responsible Care ® progress during the year and improvement plans for next year.
