A focus on the cessation of human trafficking At the IFS Board meeting in Lyon in June 2013, it was decided that over the next year a campaign would be launched regarding the cessation of human trafficking. It is a human rights issue that affects every country in which IFS has a presence and has the potential to affect the communities in which many of us work. It was decided that IFS would have a stronger voice on the international stage if all Settlement and Neighbourhood Centres were registered members rather than just the peak agencies in each country. 10,000 members carries more influence than 44 member countries.
