2.  Humans in the 21 st century are becoming increasingly attached to technology, particularly with social media.  This growing bondage of technology that the human species has created is causing us to use less of our natural instincts.  More time spent with technological devices is less time using our brains to gravitate ideas and concepts naturally, such as looking for a place with a map instead of using GPS to tell us where to go. “I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. 6.  For my project, I developed a list of all the things that I consider ‘unnatural’ to me that I used over a four day period (February 6 th to 9 th, 2015).  I am considering ‘unnatural’ in my project to be something that is not what the individual human in question can create. For example, owning a pocket knife is not classified as natural under my system because that knife was created by machinery or other people. Conversely, sharpening a stick in the woods by abrasion would be natural if the human in question performed this action because the human is using its skills to create a piece of technology suited for the challenge involved.  In all, I developed a list of 114 actions that I performed over this four day period that were considered ‘unnatural’.

7. “At the heart of effective technology integration, technology offers opportunities to be more actively involved in the learning experience.” -- Vanessa Vega, Edutopia Research Analyst  Humans are increasingly using technology to make their lives easier, more connected, and more productive.  We use many different types of technology on a daily basis without realizing it (Hence all of the stuff that I compiled).  Whether this added technology yields more benefits to consequences remains to be seen.
