3 JOB DESCRIPTION Radio operators work on the oil industry and airports. On the oil industry they work on land and at sea in oil rig. They operate

4 The central communicate centre (onshore base) and communicate for all offshore operations. They wear personal protective equipment and they use rediotelegraph or radio telephone equipment in accordance with goverment regulatiors. They also supervise and repair communications equipments.

5 RADIO OPERATORS DUTIES Radio operators must operate the central communication centre (onshore base), for all offshore operations. They must communicate fuel and fresh water report from vessels to supervisor.

6 They, must receive and passe and all communications between barges, supply boats and other vessles, the port control autheority and the coast guard. They must prepare and submit to supervisor and distributes to all relevants parties the midnight daily marine spread reporst.

7 Radio operators must orchestrates by following strict and specific procedures, winthe directives from supervisor, all affected vessels and relevant parties in cases of emergency. They must operate radio equipment in order to communicate with ships,helicopters,oli crews,and offshore oil rigs. Also, they must ensure that all job-related functions and equipment are in strict adherence with company health and safety policies and procedures.

8 REQUERIMENTS Experience: previous work-relative skill, knowledge,or experience is required for these occupations. For example, an electrician must have completed three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocation training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job.

9 Educaton: mast occupations in this zone require training in vocational schools, related on-the-jod experience, or an associatels degree. Some may require a bachelor,s degree. Training: employees in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involuing both on- the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers.
