TPFDD’s are converted into DRMD’s in order to task individuals to support an OPLAN/OPORD

I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e 34 Unit Designed Operational Capabilities (DOC) Statement A DOC statement provides the formula and criteria to measure unit readiness levels. These measurement criteria allow the Unit SORTS Monitor to answer the following questions:  Does the unit have the equipment and supplies required?  Does the equipment work?  Is the unit properly manned?  Are unit personnel trained to do their jobs?  Can the unit respond on time to perform its stated mission?

I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e DOC Statement EXAMPLE 35

I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e SORTS 36 The information reported in SORTS includes the following: The overall status of the unit Unit resource and training status* The unit commander’s assessment of the unit’s ability to execute the mission(s) for which it is organized or designed. * Measured units report resource and training status against the Designed Operational Capabilities (DOC) Statement, which summarizes the mission(s) for which the unit is organized or designed.

I n t e g r i t y - S e r v i c e - E x c e l l e n c e AEF Reporting Tool 1. ART enables commanders to report the ability or inability of individual UTCs to perform their MISCAP. 2. Units are required to update the status of UTCs for force providers, who then pick the UTC with the best ability to meet the tasking. 3. ART allows planners to evaluate a UTC prior to tasking. 37
