10 BLS for Nursing Assistants MC-10Code Blue Plan policy: Ensure that, in all areas, all nursing and/or allied health personnel (i.e. RN, LPN, CNA, technologists, technicians, etc.) maintain current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or equivalent (CPR) status. A current record of CPR trained staff must be maintained by the department. In order to comply with this policy all students will take Healthcare Provider CPR including a written exam. Please help prepare your Nursing Assistant staff for this change. They should adequately prepare before coming to class.
