3 Service Areas Damaged Without Budget

4 It’s having an impact….now Thousands of youth lose access to after school opportunities Lutheran Social Services has shut down 30 programs including seven home care and adult day care centers serving 2,355 seniors. Nearly 1,800 families lost services when the Autism Program of Illinois closed its central office doors. Epilepsy Resource Center in Springfield closed its doors Haymarket Center closed its social setting detoxification program that served 903 people last year 90% of homeless service providers reducing services / laying off staff Children’s Home and Aid has suspended state-mandated 24 hour crisis services for runaways.

6 + Governor’s office projects another $4.4 billion deficit (Comptroller says higher) By June 30, Illinois could have $8-10 billion in unpaid bills. The state began the year with $4.4 billion worth of bills. That debt must be paid down using future revenue. Skyrocketing Debt…
