1 Do Now: In your notes, explain in detail how to set up a document in Microsoft Word properly.

2  Setting up documents properly in Microsoft Word  Understanding how to use search engines (Yahoo, Goggle, AOL, etc.)  Attaching documents to an email. Completing the two basic PowerPoint's in the Computer Room section of the webpage will help you review the basic computer skills.

3  Using one of the quotes from yesterday’s lesson, type up a critical lens essay in MS Word. Make sure you email yourself the documents as an attachment of save it to your flash drive. The English Regents Study Guide is in the Handout-General section to review the things that are required for a critical lens essay.  If you did not select a quote find and interesting quote using the Internet and complete a critical lens essay for that quote.
