4 Problem of the Day A parking garage has 10 levels. There are 3 cars parked on each level. How many cars are parked in all? 10 Levels ? Cars 3 Cars 10 x 3 = 30 There are 30 cars parked in the garage

5 HOW MANY THREES? The dotted line shows a way to break apart the array. The 7 threes are broken into….? 7 x 3 5 x 3 2 x 3 7 Threes 5 threes 2 threes 5 threes + 2 threes = 7 threes ( 5 x 3) + (2 x 3) = _______ 15 + 6 = 21
