2 Schneider Electric 2 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●After performing step mentioned in document “7a- Generate PLC.ppt”, Click on GENERATE  HMI ●This window will appear: ●Note: UAG will be opening VJC, generating the project along with screens and Genies. ●IMPORTANT: Please wait till generation is completed.

3 Schneider Electric 3 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●After success full completion, this message will appear: ●Check there must be no errors. Having warnings should not be an issue.

4 Schneider Electric 4 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Open Vijeo Citect project by click Vijeo Citect icon: this window will be appeared. Click on “Vijeo Citect” icon to open the project

5 Schneider Electric 5 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Vijeo Citect will be opened with the project “MyHMI”.

6 Schneider Electric 6 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps ●Expand “MyHMI” and click on Graphics /Pages and open picture “MyPicGroup_MyPic”:

Important is write enough rights by keying-in “Manager” in TYPE field and 1..8 in Global privilege: ●This screen should like this and then click on “add” button.

10 Schneider Electric 10 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Pack and compile ●Click on File  Pack. ●After Pack operation completed, compile the project by clicking on FILE  Compile

11 Schneider Electric 11 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Pack and compile ●This window will appear: ●There should be no error after compile. ●IMPORTANT: If you are running your demo project for the first time, then please make computer setup by clicking on TOOLS  Computer Setup Wizard ●Details screen shorts are given in slide 19 and onwards.

12 Schneider Electric 12 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Running the VJC project ●Now you are ready to RUN the Viejo Citect project. ●Click on FILE  RUN. ●This window will be appeared: after the RUNTIME MANAGER starts all the process, main screen of Vijeo Citect will be appeared:

13 Schneider Electric 13 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Running the VJC project ●Main VJC screen: ●Log on with user “ad” and password. ●Click on MyPicGroup and then on MYPic. Click on “Log On” icon for logging on

15 Schneider Electric 15 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Running the VJC project ●Click on Equip1_OPM1, this pop will appear: ●Click on HMI in the pop up and see the command is sent to corresponding section in Unity Pro. ●Also check the status of the EQUIP1_OPM1: it must have been changed to HMI, like this: HMI selected

16 Schneider Electric 16 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Running the VJC project ●After selecting clicking on HMI, click on MAN icon. ●Click on HMI in the pop up and see the command is sent to corresponding section in Unity Pro. ●Also check the status of the EQUIP1_OPM1: it must have been changed like this: Manual mode

17 Schneider Electric 17 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Running the VJC project ●Continue with the EQUIP1_Mot1. ●Click on MAN; AUTO, START AND STOP function and check outputs in the corresponding section in Unity Pro. ●Also check the status of the EQUIP1_Mot1 Manual /Auto mode START /STOP

18 Schneider Electric 18 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Running the VJC project ●Suggestions: Explore communications, variables, alarms, screens and genies in VJC and demonstrate that all these aspects are generated automatically by UAG.

19 Schneider Electric 19 - EU – UAG team, Feb 2010 Steps: Computer set up wizard ●IMPORTANT: Required only if you are running a VJC project for the first time. ●Click on TOOLS  Computer Setup Wizard in Citect Project editor. ●This window will appear: ●Keep on moving to next step after ensuring the parameters are set as given in these screen shots.
