Now in the process of adding searchable subject headings to all 302 records = Public Performance Rights (PPR) video Can’t be lent via Interlibrary Loan - a local note in OCLC Ordered publisher direct, come with license agreement to not alter format, streaming rights (if available) would have to be negotiated separately Other DVDs in collection = approximately 1,700. not PPR

Robust usage: in 2015 - 4,153 views New content added, total 22,422 films in package, from multiple producers, not just FH&SS New interface, more Netflix & Kanopy style user experience Personal features, like sharing and creating clips In EDS, not currently in Library Catalog Kanopy Streaming Video Service since Sept 2014 PDA Model Good user interface: Netflix style Diverse content: 26,000 films from multiple producers, plus cinema, including Criterion Robust usage: over 5,087 films played (over 1,677 different films), 142 licensed, paid for a 1 year license for 1 for every 5 films played

New Paltz – Into Deeper Waters Ensemble as Video Hosting Platform Looking for sources of perpetual licenses for streaming video, instead of 1 – 3 year licenses Ordering Digital Files rather than DVD – had first experience Purchasing streaming rights for DVDs, converting DVDs to digital files and hosting on Ensemble Growing Pains: new workflows; negotiating perpetual licenses; cost, affordable video platforms
