1. The Finance Lab Challenge Higher Business Management September 2014

2. In conjunction with Skills Development Scotland and BNP Paribas Bank, our Higher Business Management students competed in a Finance Lab challenge with other schools in the West of Scotland. Representatives of the bank visited the school to give a presentation on working in the financial sector and then supported our students through a share trading exercise where media and investment analysts take decisions on what shares to buy and sell based on breaking news stories and fast changing economic conditions. David Muir and Jordan Lee went forward to the next stage of the competition as Clydeview Academy’s top traders narrowly missing out on the final stage but content to be recognised as Inverclyde Council’s best investment team in 2014. Well done!
