8 Outreach and Widening Participation at The University of Sheffield Focuses on two key strategic priorities: Outreach - General aspiration-raising activity delivered to all age groups collaboratively within the Sheffield City Region Widening Participation to TUoS - Sustained engagement activity targeting ‘least likely, most able’ supporting progression to the University of Sheffield.

19 Lifelong Learning, Skills and Communities in partnership with Sheffield schools, post 16 providers, HEPP and employers has:- delivered:- Ucas Progress – a traded service with all schools and post-16 Providers for online applications to post 16 provision The Sheffield CEIAG Network-careers network for teachers/senior leaders/careers professionals 17 schools & Longley Park that have contracts with Sheffield Futures-an independent CEIAG provider IAG Strategy Group-Strategic partnership representing all post 16 organisations & related bodies CEIAG Self-Assessment & Annual Review-every school/academy/UTC/free school The Careers Standard for the Sheffield City Region-quality mark Local LMI through ‘Labour Insight’ - Web-based labour market information tool to inform CEIAG Apprenticeship Ambassadors-Skills Made Easy (SME) Enterprise Adviser Network – Careers and Enterprise Company - £150,000 fund HEPP – WP particularly FSM/Pupil Premium to HE (Sheffield: RG=3%, other=17%) working towards:- Youth Portal CEIAG Dashboard CEIAG Post 16 Progression Charter Further partnership/integration with SCR Careers working group Engagement with the Youth Parliament for Sheffield Alex Migali Service Improvement Manager alex.migali@sheffield.gov.uk
