Introduction Have you ever heard of a sport called football?Well today’s your lucky day, because today I will be telling you about football.

Hard Hitting Positions In NFL football, each team has eleven players on the field. The role that a player has on the field is called their position. Under the rules of football, teams are allowed unlimited substitutions, teams may change any number of players after any play. This has resulted in three platoons of players, the offense(the team with the ball, who is trying to score), the defense(the team trying to prevent the other team from scoring, and to take the ball from them),and the special teams(who play in kicking situations). Within those platoons, there are other positions depending on what the player’s main job is. I found this diagram on the internet of an I formation on the offense and a 4-3 formation on the defense.

How Much Do They Get Paid? It depends on the player’s position but normally they get paid 5-6,000 for a normal game, but in the Super Bowl if you win you get 92,000 and if you lose you get 46,000.

The First Super Bowl The first Super Bowl was played on January 15,1967.The NFL champions Green Bay Packers defeated the AFL champions Kansas City Chiefs by the score of 35-10.Many sports writers and fans expected Green Bay would blow out Kansas City.

The MVP Of The First Super Bowl The first half of Super Bowl 1 was competitive,as the Chiefs out gained the Packers in total yards,181-164,to come within 14-10at halftime. But Green Bay safety Willie Wood’s 50- yard interception return early in the third quarter sparked the Packers to score 21 unanswered points in the second half.Green Bay quarterback Bart Starr, who completed 16 of 23 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception, was named Super Bowl MVP.
