2. Case # 1-31233 33 C.E – Passover Weekend Friday, the day of preparation before Passover, one Jesus of Nazareth was condemned to death by crucifixion. At approximately 3:00 pm at Golgotha under order of the Roman Procurator, Pontius Pilate, the prisoner died. Many individuals witnessed the crucifixion. Because it was the day of preparation before the Passover began and given that according to Jewish law, one must keep holy the Sabbath, (Friday at dusk till Sunday at dawn), Roman authorities verified that the man was dead and gave permission to one Joseph from Arimathea to remove the body. The body was placed in a tomb near Golgotha, the Place of the Skull.

7. Case # 1-31233 Prior to his death, eye witnesses claim that Jesus stated he would be killed and rise again on the third day.
