9 Year 3: Science, Art, and Philosophy Philosophy of Information History of Medicine Science in the Age of Newton Disease in History Sleep and Dreaming Science and Film Production Governing Emerging Technologies Nature, Technology, and the Environment Communication of Scientific Ideas Options change from year to year. You usually select 3 options, taking STS as a minor stream Policy, Communication and Ethics stream History and Philosophy of Science stream

10 Motivations Skills development:  Critical analysis, writing and presenting, research and project management  Useful for science careers AND to have a broader choice of careers Graduates go on to do science, but also:  Civil service  Finance sector  Journalism, media production  NGOs  Museums  Healthcare management Students find it fascinating!
